Biography

Cindy Jacobson graduated from the University of Kansas School of Business with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Economics and Entrepreneurship. She was hired into a staff role immediately following graduation and has over a decade of experience at the University providing program and project management. She also has experience and enjoys designing and delivering professional development courses. 

In her current position as Sr. Business Analyst in Finance Administration, Cindy partners with colleagues across campus to evaluate opportunities for process improvement and to lead major and minor projects in Finance. Previous projects include coordinating a Finance Internship, implementing the Finance Service Portal, and conducting a comprehensive process review of all Finance Shared Service Center activities. Future projects include the development of a University Financial Literacy program. 

Cindy is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Public Manager® graduate. She is also certified in the Strengths Development Inventory assessment tool and teaches workshops related to continuous improvement.
